What do I need to connect?
Cloudflare for server-side crawler logs, and Google Analytics 4 for referral sessions. You can connect either or both. There's nothing to install on your site itself — no tag, no plugin, no code change.
Why does it matter whether my server served the page?
Because a crawler requesting a page that returned a 404 is not coverage — it's a broken page an AI platform tried to read. Tools that only count requests make those look identical. Paprik records what the origin actually served, so your list of crawled pages reflects reality.
Which AI crawlers are recognised?
Crawlers from OpenAI, Google, Microsoft, Anthropic, Perplexity, Apple, Amazon, Meta, ByteDance, Mistral, Common Crawl, the Internet Archive and others — each classified by purpose, such as training, retrieval, search or answer crawling.
Is Agent Analytics included in my plan?
Yes. Agent Analytics is available on every plan, including Solo. You only need to connect Cloudflare and/or Google Analytics.
Can bot identification be spoofed?
Crawler identity is self-declared through the user agent, which anyone can set, so treat platform attribution as indicative rather than proof. Filtering by what your server actually served removes most of the noise for the pages view.
